Focus of the deck is to generate board control with Lost in the Wood and make use of cards that benefit from having many forests in the Deck. (A less boring Lost in the Woods-centric deck.)

65% Forests (Sapseed Forest counts as forest!) means with one Lost in the Woods out, you have 65% of preventing any attack. Two Lost in the Woods increases this to 88%. Traproot Kami means further protection as it can block flyers and has almost always higher Thoughness than enemy creatures have power. Abundance make sure you can get your few non-land cards out of the deck while leaving the forests in the deck. Rites of flourishing allows you to play two forests in 42% of your turns.

Playing many forests is an advantage as all the finishers depend and a large amount of forests: Dungrove Elder gets +1/+1 for every Forest in play, Howl of the Night Pack mean a token for every forest, Natural Affinity gives you an surprise army of 2/2 for every forest forest. Remember, 42% chance to draw two forest a turn with rites of flourishing and 100% forest chance with abundance. To round it up, Sapseep Forest uses the abundant mana to restore the life lost in the first rounds.

Best played with up to 3 mulligans if you don't have Traproot Kami, Abundance, Rites of flourishing or Lost in the woods in your starting hand. mulligans don't mean a disadvantage, as you have more than enough mana anyway, getting the first key cards in the important thing with this deck.
