Standard Pauper

The idea is to play Gurmag or other big threat on T3, then keep bringing the big creatures and applying pressure or chump block with the little creatures that fill the graveyard.

The big guys: [[Gurmag Angler]], [[Hooting Mandrills]] and [[Sultai Scavenger]]
The little ones: [[Satyr Wayfinder]], [[Sultai Skullkeeper]] and [[Necromancer's Assistant]].
Filter and fill the graveyard spells: [[Commune with the Gods]] and [[Taigam's Scheming]].
Other spells:

  • [[Treasure Cruise]]: Best card in the format. It's hard to delve because you use the graveyard with the big threats but with 24 lands you can usually play it by turn 5 to 7, when you're running out of gas.
  • [[Singing Bell Strike]]: this is one of the best removal in an aggro deck.
  • [[Force Away]]: undo that annoying creature, also draw and discard!
  • [[Rakshasa's Secret]]: I put only one because this version is more aggro, this card is great in the midrange race.

Sideboard:

I'm not familiar with the meta, so I put cards that let you be more midrange like [[Rakshasa's Secret]] and the counterspells ([[Negate]] and [[Disdainful Stroke]]).
Against aggro decks you should include [[Singing Bell Strike]], [[Force Away]] and [[Sultai Skullkeeper]] (Chump blocking with it means 3 more cards in the graveyard).
