This deck takes one of two paths, depending on the opening draw. Either force them to top-deck and punish them for it, or go for a kicked Sadistic Sacrament and cripple their deck on turn 5-6. Dimir Machinations and Beseech the Queen will help search for the cards needed for either strategy.

Early game, cripple their lands and force them to discard no matter which strategy you choose. If you know you'll be top-decking yourself, use Pulse of the Dross to bring them down with you.

Liliana is here because planeswalkers are cool, and her abilities synergize with the deck's goals.
