I believe what you're asking is if using Mutavault's ability to become a creature will trigger Door of Destinies?

The answer is no. Mutavault becoming a creature isn't a spell, it's an activated ability so it will not trigger Door of Destinies.

HOWEVER....

Mutavault will get the +x/+x from Door of Destinies when it's ability is activated since it has all creature types, so it will have the creature type chosen for Door of Destinies.

yes that what exactly what I was wondering , still new to the game and being able to distinguish between , spells, abilities, triggers is quite fuzzy , but thank you for clarifying , you have made a few things quite clearer for me !

Wolf is definately right.

The wording on door of destinies is "cast" and with metavault's ability you are changing the
features of an object not "casting" it.
