BG Control Elements II

Control Elements II is an improvement on my previous BG Control-aggro deck. It focuses on gaining card advantage by Skullclamp in the early game, and in the late game it nukes the opponent's hand with Mind Twist.

Putrid Leech and Gloom Surgeon provide cheap and effective anti-aggro effects; Putrid Leech can easily put itself out of the reach of Bolts while Surgeon is immune to deathtouch and infect. Scavenging Ooze and Deathrite Shaman crush any graveyard combos an opponent might try to pull, while the ooze and the nighthawk are versatile tools for racing the enemies life.
