Basic Strategy:
Get your commander on the field & start gaining board presence, removing threats, or drawing cards using your flicker targets. You can conserve the flicker spells in hand to protect your creatures from removal rather than play them proactively if you're likely to be targeted, or you can use them as creature resets if an opponent's strategy relies on enchantments or +1/+1 counters. While there is a Whispersilk Cloak, the Soulherder is more of a tool than a finisher in most situations. He provides a massive power increase for your ETB creatures, so he'll be a big target for removal at some point and may not get a chance to get very big.
I did include the classic flicker combo of Peregrine Drake, Displace/Ghostly Flicker/any of the creatures in the Recursors section. While there isn't a very good way to tutor the combo up, having it happen randomly will be super fun, and if its your only out you can use the draw creatures to try and dig towards it.
Example combo:
Peregrine Drake + Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker = make infinite mana, then use Mist Raven to return all creatures to their owners hands by flickering it with Archaeomancer until you run out of infinite mana. Once that's done, (a) nobody has anything left while you've got a board, and (b) if your Soulherder isn't summoning sick, you can kill someone with it.
You can also use Pierce Strider in the combo to simply kill everyone at once, but with no tutors, the only way to "guarantee" it is to carefully draw your deck to get to it.
