Waste-away (Standard)

I just wanted to create a deck that messed around with sacrifice and counters. Being able to cast undying on creatures as a instant it too strong. Makes any removal other then exile very "touch and go". I like being able to sacrifice and block only to be rewarded with tougher creatures and then move those counters around. Hunger of the howlpack as a instant morbid is very strong, then combined with Rancor and corpsejack...things get big very quickly and all as a instant during combat then trample. Lumberknot and Blood Artist compliment the undying and counter theme. And its a great feeling to have a lumberknot with 10 counters on it and attacking with lumberknot and bloodartist who has a 0 power, only to have the opponent block the lumberknot then use bioshift to put those 10 counters on bloodartist and win the game. Deathrite shaman might get the cut and be replaced with sign in blood, farseek, murder, killing wave, or a instant that adds more counters or death touch. So far he plays the role as a annoyance and a target for removal. Strangleroot is godlike with haste and undying. Vampire Nighthawk is the flying threat.
