This is a wizard's deck revolving around of Naban, Dean of Iteration which has two-pronged attack.

1) Wizard Aggro beatdown
This first strategy utilises Metallic Mimic and Naban, Dean of Iteration to put two +1/+1 counters on every single wizard we play. Our low mana curve helps too. We also have another wizard lord in Naru Meha, Master wizard to buff our team. Merfolk Trickster and Watertrap Weaver can then tap our opponent's creatures to take out their blockers so that we can get a massive swing in to the face. Not to mention that they are good on defence as well if we are on the back foot and stalling to win with our second strategy.

2) God-Pharaoh's Gift / Gate to the Afterlife Combo
With a lot of our creatures having enter-the-battlefield abilities, having this combo gives us further card advantage and to win in the late game if our aggro plan does not go through. This is where Champion of Wits shine to filter our deck to get our combo pieces and to also get creatures to our graveyard. Champion of Wits can also get rid of excess Naban, Dean of Iteration. Besides that, we get Trophy Mage to search out gate to the afterlife and can also be used to beatdown. Ipnu Rivulet can easily be used to trigger Gate to the Afterlife if necessary.

Siren Stormtamer has the all round ability which gives us early beats in the air, protects our stuff and can be sacrificed easily for gate to the afterlife.

The mini-merfolk package in Silvergill Adept and Riverwise Augur gives us card advantage.

Sideboarding can go either way.
Sideboard into a merfolk package with protection from Kopala, Warden of Waves and more card draw from Seafloor Oracle or
Sideboard into an instant/flash package with an additional Naru Meha, Master Wizard, Wizard's Retort and Nimble Obstructionist.

Of course, this deck can perfectly function without Naban, Dean of Iteration but when he sticks around, you get so much value it is bonkers!
