This is a budget, modern framed version of Ben Stark's Battle Box (http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/stark-reality-battle-box). If you're not familiar with the concept of a Battle Box, you can find more information there.
Some cards in that origanl Battle Box were quite expensive. Some of these expensive cards were exchanged with cheaper alternatives in the second version (http://store.channelfireball.com/catalog/magic_sealed_product-box_sets/ben_starks_battle_box__version_20/386973). I mostly followed these changes and added some aditional changes myself to make the box even cheaper.
Also, I wanted to update the box to modern framed cards. This way the wording between cards is more consistent and in addition it just looks better.
The Battle Box consists of 240 cards, but Ben only lists 239 cards. Buyers of the Battle Box posted that the last card appeared to be Hallow. (Source: http://www.cubetutor.com/viewcube/14352)
During the process I had some help from several people on the site Boardgamegeek. If you want to read the discussion that lead to these changes, go to http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/1355822/help-me-build-cheap-modern-framed-version-battle-b.
