My version of the midrange angel lists that are going around. This tries to exploit how the meta has formed with things like Rekindling Phoenix which is quite good due to how exile is becoming more uncommon. Disdainful Stroke also seems solid as many decks currently run powerful 4+ cmc cards that stroke cleanly deals with. I think Stroke is better than Negate currently since most spells you want to counter are 4+ cmc, we want to counter larger creatures lie Ravenous Chupacabra, and the fact that we spend the earlier turns curving out and not holding up mana for counters makes Negate worse than Stroke. I also think Deafening Clarion is not worth a mainboard inclusion since it's only good vs aggressive (which we already do decently well against since we can really stall out the board with minions and then use something like Lyra to close out games) and token decks while being completely useless against things like control and other midrange decks. The manabase should also be consistent enough even though it lacks 1 red and 1 white source it will still hit it's curve with over 90% consistency which is worth it since this list runs the highest power threats we honestly can.Otherwise the mainboard is pretty standard for midrange angels and the sideboard is built to be flexible and have small but meaningful packages against decks like control, tokens and other midrange decks.
