To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is the Necropotence deck, named "Beatdown Necro" used by John Chinnock at the 1997 Magic World Championships. I found the decklist in the book "Deckade: 10 Years of Decks, Thoughts, and Theory!" by Michael J. Flores.
I haven't recreated or playtested with this deck yet, but at a first glance it looks pretty similar to something I would have made for a Necrodeck at the time.
Something to keep in mind is that Ivory Tower had phased out after 5th Edition came around and Zuran Orb was banned. So the only good lifegain was Drain Life, which may explain why this deck includes 4x Nevinyrral's Disk in the deck. Removing Necropotence from the board with Nevinyrral's Disk was, from what I understand, a tactic that was used by players before they realized they could just pair it with Zuran Orb and Ivory Tower.
