2-1 with 5-color gates. The deck was reasonably open - I certainly got my share of the lands, and the double gates ablaze was pretty brutal. I didn't plan on playing black, but inheritance in a slow deck that can boardwipe doesn't seem the worst to me. I would have rather had another big flyer or threat, but this was what i had to work with.
Highlight was winning on a mull to 4 vs Rakdos, where a Gates Ablaze stabilized me at 2 life, and then stomping to the finish line with Rubblebelt Recluse. Runner-up was bouncing Angel, wiping the board with Gates Ablaze, then re-casting Angel to gain 12 life.
Lost to a gruul deck that was big and fast enough to keep me off balance; didn't get to blaze them early enough, and things could be too big as well.
