To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
I made this deck based on the old story of how a fishing village was attacked by a gigantic sea creature.
Basically the goal is to fulfill the old tale.
It all started with a huge Fog Bank, covering the coast.
Then came the Illusions, several huge Riftwing Cloudskate emerge from the mists and kidnap people from the village.
Some villagers claimed that they saw deceased people, that had died or disappeared on the sea, long ago. Strange Clone creatures luring unsuspecting fishermen in the form of lost loved ones. Their Fated Infatuation.
With the high tide came the Man-o'-War.
Lastly the Stormtide Leviathan emerged from the deep dark and created an enormous whelming wave sealing the fishermens doom.
Jace is in the deck for mysterious reasons. Maybe it was all according to his plan all along?
After playtesting this deck, I realized that it is actually pretty powerful with its early game control. Even though this deck is made with the story in mind and for the amazing artwork on all these cards.
So basically:
You bounce with the Riftwing Cloudskate and Man-O'-War. Fog bank is great for defence aswell. You will draw alot of Clone, Fated Infatuation and Cackling Counterpart. Use these to keep forcing the opponents creatues to his/her hand, by cloning the Man-O'-War and Riftwing Cloudskate. Eventually you either draw a high tide or the merchant scroll (use this to find high tide) With the mana boost, you can play Stormtide Leviathan and hopefully Whelming Wave on the same turn. Game Over, Leviathan wins again.
Most of the time though, you win before this happens, with just the early game creatures. The bounce is so strong that the opponent can't do anything.
