Hey everyone :) Welcome to the "Church of Value", a Teysa, Orzhov Scion variant of my original Teysa Aristocrats deck.
Just like the other version, this deck focuses on tokens, and value engines that are fueled by those tokens (or by creatures dying, generally speaking) and most of those engines can go infinite as well.
Therefore this deck disregards one-time effects (like afterlife creatures) and instead focuses on repeatable effects, both for producing tokens, as well as cards that benefit from them dying.
For example, cards like Grave pact, Elenda, the Dusk Rose, Pitiless Plunderer and hell, even our commander benefit from creatures dying. All those engines are made better with tokens, as we will have many of them to sac to generate value in the form of removal, mana, draw, or more tokens.
This is why this deck runs cards that generate tokens consistently (with the exception of a few cards that can generate a massive amount of tokens at once, which are useful to come back in the game after a wipe, or end games). So we run cards like Bitterblossom, Grave Titan, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, etc. for consistency.
We also run a suit of Self-recurring creatures, which can be reanimated by themselves, so we can sacrifice them as many times as we want to fuel many of our engines (Black market, Teysa, Orzhov Scion, Skullclamp, name it) when we're out of tokens (for example after a board wipe), or early game. These cards include Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodsoaked Champion and Nether traitor.
As far as engines and combos go:
Cards like Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, etc., can generate black tokens every turn, which is good for the deck generally speaking, but with our commander on the field, if they die or are sacrificed we will get a nice flow of spirits we can later use as removal with her main ability (to that end we can also use our self-reanimating creatures, as they're all black), so our commander will be an engine of her own. Also note that Ophiomancer generates a token on EACH upkeep if you don't have a snake, so with your commander and a sac outlet you can get a spirit on each of your opponents' turn.
Our commander goes infinite with Darkest Hour and Blasting Station (or any free sac outlet, as I've just recently found out. This can be abused for infinite draw or infinite mana, so it's very easy to win with this card on the board).
Blasting station works wonders with any card that generates tokens whenever a creature dies to inflict damage (can also be used on creatures!).
Phyrexian Altar, and Pitiless Plunderer are also 2 cards that go infinite really easily (sometimes even by accident). Same for self-reanimating creatures: I had infinite loops happen with Reassembling Skeleton, Plunderer, Procession and a free sac outlet, or with Nether Traitor, Requiem and Phyrexian Altar (infinite mana!), or with Traitor, Phyrexian Altar and our commander, etc. (those loops are infinite, so they're win-cons with Aristocrats, and they can give infinite mana or infinite tokens with procession and/or our commander).
Of course, Karmic Guide, Reveillark and a free sac outlet go infinite, which is another win con with Blood Artist and friends (or Blasting Station), and can also generate infinite mana with Pitiless Plunderer.
Don't even get me started on Mimic Vat; this card is value-shenanigans heaven: you can use it to copy a token generator like Grave Titan or Sengir Autocrat to generate a massive amount of tokens every turn, or use it to get back one of your sac outlets, or a combo piece, or a win-con, or just get back any black creature, sac it to fuel your commander and create a permanent white token. And guess what: it works with Anointed Procession.
