So I struggle to build straight aggro decks, this seemed like a good opportunity to build an aggro deck as a value player because I need to attack to get the value.
This deck is primarily creature focused so I can trigger my commander as consistently as possible, however I still need to run removal, alternative card draw, ramp and recovery which is tricky; running cards like Blasphemous Act or Decimate is suboptimal when my commander is likely going to pitch it if I draw it too early. Thus whilst these cards are taking up some of my removal slots I hope that they will eventually be phased out by cards that fall into one of these 3 categories:

  1. Cards that trigger in grave i.e Encore, Escape etc: These cards are synergistic with the deck because it doesn't require any additional action to what my commander is already doing like Soul of New Phyrexia or Impulsive PIlferer. However, running a deck comprised solely of these cards isn't optimal as the strategy is extremely weak to a lone Bojuka Bog.
  2. Cards that exile themselves with a cheap cost for a later effect i.e Suspend, Adventure, Foretell etc: Unfortunately this is an extremely small pool of cards and an even smaller pool of playable cards but I am still running cards like Lovestruck Beast and Search for Tomorrow. This would be the ideal category of cards to lean into and maybe if Adventure has more support in the future I'd like to lean into that mechanic much much more.
  3. Cards that have a low CMC but pop for a higher mana cost. This is where I'm looking for cards that have a CMC of 1 or 2 but sit on the field until I pop them for their effect, this can include cards like Seal of Primordium or Stuffed Bear. Ideally this category would only comprise of creatures such as Gorilla Shaman or Bomat Courier so that they can trigger Gallia in addition to ticking my removal/draw/ramp boxes, bonus points if they have haste.

Running such a low curve means I can quickly play out all my good cards allowing me to trigger Gallia of the Endless Dance as soon as possible. Secondly, I've tried to make Squee, Goblin Nabob my secret commander, the Goblin Matron and Gamble can search him and in theory I can play out my hand (making particular use of categories 1 and 2 to ensure I still have plays for future turns if I'm left top decking lands and have no where to sink my mana) this means that ideally the only cards left in my hand are cards from category 1 that I want to discard or Squee himself. Note there's a lot of cards like Conspiracy Theorist and Containment Construct which have high synergy with cards that want to discard however I've cut them because I found my strategy was deviating more towards an entirely discard themed deck, at which point there would be less emphasis on attacking to trigger Gallia and more emphasis on other cards that let me discard so I can trigger effects, ultimately the deck is trying to win by going wide with weenies so you opponent doesn't have enough blockers, meanwhile staying alive by converting the attackers which usually die on attack into card draw for more guys that can attack, discard synergies are great but hastey 1 drops are unfortunately more optimal for this strategy.
The decks biggest weakness is an excess of mana which can happen at any point from turn 5 by which point I've played out my hand and have nowhere to sink the mana. Thus I've tried to add some land mana sinks like Arch of Orazca, Kessig Wolf Run, Sea Gate Wreckage, and Labyrinth of Skophos but also lands that let me sink mana to up my creature count if I'm short for Galia's trigger; cards like Urza's Factory, Crawling Barrens, Dread Statuary, Raging Ravine, Treetop Village, Hellion Crucible, Mishra's Factory and Kher Keep; however, the deck could still benefit from more mana sinks. Although as a caveat to this the problem with most (land) mana sinks is that they produce colourless mana, I run a lot of one drops and thus colourless mana isn't in high demand so I have to prioritise running only the good ones with the highest ceiling.

This deck appears to be legal in EDH / Commander.
