Mono White Aura (Modern)

Control your opponent and build a beast. Fast, but lacking in many aspects. I have a very high win ratio with this one, 17-3, at my local FNM store. My favorite deck against casuals. Ordinary Modern sideboard, the usuals. Not gonna list 'em, they are listed elsewhere (everywhere).

Pretty straight forward deck, control your opponent with Gelid Shackles, Burden Of Guilt, Silence and to some extend Spirit Link, while building a beast with auras and hitting your opponent fast and hard. A decent starting hand with any combination of Favored Hoplite/Kor Spiritdancer/Lagonna-Band Trailblazer with Ethereal Armor and either Spirit Link or Hyena Umbra and a Gelid Shackles will result in a 4-8/4-11 beast on turn 3 and with Gelid Shackles and some free mana you're ready to roll over your opponent in easy fashion. I can't understate how well this deck works against almost every deck type in casual Modern. Or maybe i need more experienced opponents.

For a budget version (~125$) just swap Flooded Strand and Windswept Heath for Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse, however it will slow the deck considerably, and the more expensive cards are a stable of FNM so they are worth the investment.
