To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
My playgroup hated Yuriko at the table, and I lost interest in playing the deck after a while so I transformed it into this mess of cards! Focusing in on Cazur and Ukkima because they're a cool pairing, but with the fun of ninjas because well.... Ninjas are cool!
A deck based around evasive creatures, ninjas, and a splash of +1/+1 counters. The deck draws A LOT of cards through various enchantments, some artifacts, and a handful of creatures. The strategy for this deck is fairly straight forward. Get your sneaky weenies onto the board and either use them to go tall with Cazur, or to Ninjutsu in some Ninjas. Ukkima is a prime target for the Ninjas considering his LtB trigger.
While I believe that the deck needs some more win-cons. We have a few routes for victory: Go wide with Cazur and Sun Quan, Lord of Wu/Herald of Secret Streams for some good old fashion tickling to death. Ninja's can be mean at times, namely Yuriko and Fallen Shinobi (primarily this dude, he's absolutely brutal). Simic Ascendancy is an alt win-con, but I've yet to see the card in a game.
The deck also runs a fair amount of interaction in single target removal and counterspells.
I'm currently playing around with the idea of removing Evacuation, Finale of Eternity, Flood of Tears, and Villainous Wealth. I think that what this deck really needs is some late-game finishers. Something like a Craterhoof Behemoth or similar effect. And since this deck ends up drawing so many cards, I think adding some big mana spells isn't going to be the end of the world. The plan is to put Toxic Deluge, and In Garruk's Wake in over Evacuation and Flood of Tears. Leaving the Finale and Wealth to be dropped for two big bois. Ideally Ibex and Craterhoof, but I don't have either of those cards, and they aren't necessarily in the budget at the moment haha.
Let me know what you think of the deck! I'm open to any and all suggestions.
