This was going to be a Simic Mill Deck using both partners, but found it to bee too clunky and slow.

So now it is a JUST Toothy, Imaginary Friend deck with a couple themes that really mesh well together:

  • Mill (Main Win Con)
  • Voltron Draw (Faster, but Secondary Win Con)
  • Lab-Man-Wins (Slower, Secondary Win Con)

The deck has been tested a couple times and seems to play rather well to slow down my opponents and has a, almost, Toolbox-y feel to it. It has won every game that it has played in the testing phase, and requires very little tweeking in my opinion.

I did not want this deck to be a reactive control deck (ie Counterspell style deck) so I could use all/most of my mana each of my turns to out-value my opponents. I also did not want any other Extra Turn cards in the deck, the only exception being Lighthouse Chronologist, as my playgroup does not enjoy those kinds of decks. This deck also sports 4 ways to gain an unlimited hand size.

The deck does have some Secondary Win Conditions that will be favored if playing against decks with Anti-Mill aspects. Time Stop and Discontinuity both are used if an Old-School Eldrazi Titan hits the grave.

The deck also has some hardly used protection for Toothy, Imaginary Friend, Rescue and Unsummon are best used to save him in case your opponent uses a bit of removal, and Ring of Evos Isle and Curator's Ward are great ways to gain additional value out of him, while protecting him at the same time.

MAYBEBOARD is my shopping list...

Let me know what you think and don't forget to LIKE the deck :3
