Elf Combo (EDH / Commander) [Revision 33]

Overwhelm your opponents with an army of persistent elves using this re-tuned Guided by Nature deck.

This is my absolute favorite commander deck. Every game feels fresh and exciting with multiple win conditions. This deck has it all: big creatures with trample, armies of elves, combo, infect. Like to go infinite? Cast everything for free at flash speeds while you bounce and tutor your counter-proof winning play. Ezuri and his gang have you covered.

• Removed 1 Forest for Cavern of Souls
• Removed 1 Forest for War Room
• Removed Elvish Guidance for Expedition Map
• Removed Incubation Druid for Mirror of the Forebears
• Removed Summoner's Pact for Natural Order

Cavern of Souls and War Room are obvious includes over the basic Forest. Expedition Map has the same mana cost as Elvish Guidance, offering a tutor for Gaea's Cradle, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, or Wirewood Lodge. In most cases it nets more mana by including non-elves or the same benefit at worst. There are enough, better, mana-generating creatures for Mirror of the Forebears over Incubation Druid. I prefer the immediate, cost-effective game winning benefit of a Natural Order + Craterhoof Behemoth rather than Summoner's Pact.

Testing

• Altar of the Brood has a fun interaction with Cloudstone Curio, Aluren, and elves with potential infinite mill potential. I'm always looking to diversify win conditions in this deck but this might be a stretch. Unlike the other win conditions, there aren't any ways to tutor this combo and aside from Aluren, the cards are mostly worthless on their own.
• Hall of Gemstone sounds like a lot of fun. It's a sudo-stax piece that has no effect on Ezuri, helps prevent opponent interaction on your turn, and greatly effects multi-colored decks. While mana rocks can work around it, it still has potential to slow your opponents enough to get a game winning combo assembled. For the cost, it's not bad.
