Zur's Astral Slide (EDH / Commander)

Zur is a popular choice for the cycling archetype because he can tutor up Astral Slide, here's my take on the deck.

This deck seeks to lock up the game by blinking opponents' creatures out of existence. Early on they can keep creatures from attacking us and with a few key cards, it keeps them from coming back. Lethal Vapors, Portcullis, and Containment Priest keep creatures from coming back. Sundial of the Infinite keeps creatures from coming back if you activate during your turn and end the turn while the return trigger is on the stack.

The cycling cards are chosen to be useful in niche situations so they're not dead cards without Astral Slide. Abandoned Sarcophagus becomes a huge value engine and Crucible of Worlds makes sure we can be hitting all our land drops. Alhamaret's Archive lets us draw two cards from cycling but also from rhystic study, mystic remora, Mikokoro, center of the sea, and Geier reach sanitarium.

For protection we've got Greater Auramancy, counter magic, and Sun Titan in case Astral Slide gets destroyed. Perplexing Chimera can trade for a spell and then get blinked back to our side.

Planeswalkers help close out the game and Approach of the Second sun can win in just a turn cycle or two with all the cards we're drawing.

Your playgroup may hate you for this deck but it'll be worth it!
