Hello everyone! Modern Green Stompy is my favorite deck of all time, so I'm excited to showcase changes to the build that have significantly improved the decks early game lethality and it's consistency againstly troubling matchups.

Here are our additions:
4 Hexdrinker: Alternative 1 Drop that gets better over time. A 4/4 Protection from instants is very prevalent, and it becoming a 6/6 Protection from everything is nasty.
4 Noble Hierarch: Can be budgeted with Llanowar Elves, however Ramping into a turn 2 Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig or Steel Leaf Champion and having the luxury of dumping an extra 2/3 cmc creature to make Aspect of Hydra bigger on turn 3 places such a huge pressure on the opponent. Exalted is so godly with Steel Leaf Champion as well.
2 Questing Beast: Yes please! Excellent attacker in that it has Haste (to get in early and not waste time) and Deathtouch (which makes him a scary block), as well as having Vigilance to block during the turn after it just attacked your opponent. Also the fact that she can hop over little creatures like Steel Leaf makes her much better, and her destroying Planeswalkers is icing on the cake!
2 Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig: Thicc boi who can be ramped in Turn 3 thanks to Noble Hierarch and also gets bigger for every Green creature entering the battle field? I'll take two please!

Mana Base was upgraded. We went from 18 Forest and 2 Treetop Village to just 9 Forest, 5 Horizon Lands, 4 Fetch Lands, and the 2 Treetops.

Sideboard changes feature:
4 Veil of Summer: Black and Blue are the most problematic colors for us and this gives us a shield against both, plus card it gives us a draw! 2 Choke also shut down Blue decks.
2 Feed the Clan: for burn
2 Damping Sphere: for Tron, aggro and combo
2 Reclamation Sage to deal with anything using Enchantments.
2 Relic of Progenitus and 1 Tormod's Crypt for graveyard decks.

No matter what the configuration is, there are Mono Green Modern Staples that you should be running.
4 Avatar of the Resolute
2-4 Experiment One
4 Pelt Collector
4 Steel Leaf Champion
4 Aspect of Hydra
4 Vines of Vastwood
No matter what configuration of the deck you are running. This is definitely the foundation.

The deck can also go Green White to play Path and other White Sideboard cards. Just make sure to tweak that mana base with some Temple Garden and Razorverge Thicket. Also the 4 Horizon Canopy would be a must.

Is this a fun deck to play? YES. Is it Meta? Not really. It can easily take games from the top decks, maybe even take a match. However the deck is too vulnerable to creature removal and counter magic for it to be a contender.

New Tests: 1x Mistcutter Hydra in MB, 2x Barkhide Troll, and We are running 2 Rancor. Through this we lowered the curve by dropping 2x Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig, 2x Experiment One, and 1x Dismember
