To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This deck aims to play out creatures that create tokens when you cast spells then uses effects like Kykar, Wind's Fury and Phyrexian Altar to fuel mana into cantrips to generate a bunch of card advantage and just keep on going. The deck features Flash which is mainly there to use in conjunction with Academy Rector to fetch either Thousand-Year Storm or Anointed Procession but also allows some of your larger CMC creatures which you want to stick to sneak into a players endstep. If you want your Docent of Perfection or The Locust God for your next big storm turn, Flash helps make sure they survives just the endstep and not a rotation of possible removal spells from the table.
Due to the inbuilt mana generation engine, the only ritual is Seething Song and also doesn't run Omniscience since it is clunky and is only really funny to get off of Flash Academy Rector since it's a nombo with half the deck. This is also why we are only running 30 lands, also since we are running a lot of cantrips, we can get away with a 2 land hand with a Ponder, Preordain and a Serum Visions (Mostly) but, ideally, you want to play those while you have something that generates tokens. The mana engine also allows for the addition of Static Orb as this slows down almost all opponents and not really us as we can happily have all our permanents tapped and only untap 2 Lands as with an Phyrexian Altar and a few token Generators, it hardly slows us down and stops other combo decks from racing ahead while we set up. I used to run Winter Orb but found it drew more hate from more fair decks, in comparison to Static Orb, and also did very little against more unfair decks like Urza, Lord High Artificer and Yisan, the Wanderer Bard.
