To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is the final version of my Golos Tireless Pilgrim deck.
The idea here is just to get massive value off of both of Golos's abilities.
Some of the main heavy hitters are:
Field of the Dead, which coupled with Reshape the Earth and Vesuva result in 20 2/2 Zombies.
Leyline of Anticipation and Wilderness Reclamation, which allow us to essentially take 2 turns per rotation.
Any of our tutors, generally leave cards on top, so I can use the Golos ability to reduce their costs.
Our "Play an extra land" spells which allow Golos activations to at least ramp us.
Cards that allow us to see and/or play, off the top of the library such as Bolos's Citadel, Sensei's Divining Top, Doom Whisperer and Scroll Rack.
There are also 2 creatures that reduce the cost of Golos's second ability, to only WUBRG. (I don't currently own a copy of Training Grounds. If I did that would be an automatic include. Maybe swap out Biomancer's Familiar?)
The Grand Abolisher allows us to run fewer counterspells and still manage to do our thing in relative safety.
Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient, Lithoform Engine, and Rings of Brighthearth all allow us to copy Golos' activated ability.
We have multiple ways to get multiple instances of Golos' ETB such as Panharmonicon, Conjurer's Closet, Lithoform Engine, and Bramble Sovereign.
Any extra turn spells are great because they allow more rerolls of Golos's activated ability. Coupled with Swarm Intelligence they are extremely deadly.
Our end game combos are as follows:
Bolas's Citidel + Sensei's Divining Top + Aetherflux Reservoir
This allows us to gain a lot of life and draw our entire deck.
Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake/Dockside Extortionist (Seasons Past + Aetherflux Reservoir)
Producing infinite mana, allows infinite activations of Golos, playing everything in our deck as many times as we wish. The Seasons Past allows for infinite cast triggers for Aetherflux Reservoir.
Alternative Infinite mana combos:
Vigean Graftmage + Biomancer's Familiar/Zirda, the Dawnwaker + Faeburrow Elder/Incubation Druid
Basalt Monolith + Zirda, the Dawnwaker gives us infinite colourless and coupled with Chromatic Orrery allows us infinite mana of any colour.
I have certainly missed some things, but that gives you a general idea of how this deck functions.
As a final side note, this is certainly not the best deck for any casual play. I do bring it out from time to time, but I make sure to give a fair warning as to the power level of this deck.
If other people are playing their more competitive decks, then this is the deck I will use.
This deck has a tendency to just outvalue even competitive lists. With counterspells only stopping so much.
However, due to the nature of randomness, you can sometimes pay 7 mana for absolutely nothing and lose on the spot.
So I will never consider this a true CEDH deck.
It would be super fun to bring along to a tournament, however.
