To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Game Plan: Ramp with Green cards, to play deadly red cards. Utilize Dragon Broodmother, Utvara Hellkite, Doubling Season, and Descendants' Path to proc Scourge of Valkas multiple times every turn.
Why are you using...
Utopia Sprawl: this card is awesome when combined with Arbor Elf, and can enchant Stomping Ground.
Somberwald Sage: Allows you to potentially summon an 8 drop on turn 3.
Balefire Dragon: this dragon serves as the decks board clear.
Thundermaw Hellkite: this dragon has haste and taps all enemy fliers when entering the battlefield.
Utvara Hellkite: An extra 6/6 dragon every time a dragon attacks? Yes please!
Scourge of Valkas: I've been conflicted about this dragon for a long time. It holds a lot of potential with Utvara, Broodmother, Doubling Season, and Descendants' Path though.
Hellkite Charger: Been play testing with this for when you just need that extra push to close a game.Sideboard notes:
Rith, the Awakener: I only add this when playing casual Multiplayer formats (since it is a Legacy card its also not in the sideboard). Provides fodder for your baby dragons (produced by Broodmother) to eat instead of each other; Doubles as an overwhelming 1/1 army.
Spring Cleaning: I've had problems in the past with enemies enchantment stacking, using temporary exile enchantments (example: Banishing Light), or cards like Pacifism (enchanted creature can't attack, block, or active it's abilities).
Lightning Greaves: This can slow down your opening for sure, but it keeps your Broodmother and Scourge safe to keep chipping away at your opponent passively.First 3 turns
T1: Forest, play an Arbor Elf.
T2: Forest, play a Utopia Sprawl on untapped Forest, tap enchanted Forest for 2, untap with Arbor Elf, tap again for an additional 2, play Somberwald Sage (and potentially another Utopia Sprawl, Arbor Elf, or Slumbering Dragon).
T3: Mountain, tap all lands and Somberwald Sage, play any dragon you please.
