To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
[quote]Maze's End c-c-c-C-C-C-C-COMBOOO
This deck ultimately wants to win with Maze's End and 10 Guildgates on the battlefield. The way this deck wants to go about doing that is by playing cards like Mesmeric Orb, Mirror-Mad Phantasm and Hedron crab to self mill as quickly as possible. Hermit Druid is probably the best mill card in the deck because he will tap and mill your whole Library. We also run Laboratory Maniac and Thassa's Oracle for protection, but generally if you have your whole deck in the graveyard, you can win with Maze's End and won't need them.
The idea is to mill the guildgates into your graveyard and recurr them with cards like Splendid Reclamation or Eerie Ultimatium. Each of them brings back all lands to the battlefield. There is also Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator and Muldrotha, the Gravetide that can all just play lands out of your graveyard.
There are a few ways to capitalize on this effect. The first being cards like Retreat to Hagra and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen. They both have landfall triggers that deal direct damage to your opponents and Ob Nixilis can become a huge threat very fast. Also having a card like Lotus Cobra or Amulet of Vigor on the board will let you take advantage of the lands enterning the battlefield.
This deck is built around self mill so naturally there is a fair amount of recursion as well. Our commander, Kenrith, can recur any creature to the battlefield. One of the best targets for this ability is Muldrotha as she will allow you to get back any non-creature combo pieces you need from the graveyard. Other recursion options are Unburial Rites and Lazav, the multifarious for creatures and Past in Flames or Mystic Retrieval for instants/sorceries.
There are a few options for winning if Maze's End or one of your guildgate gets exiled. Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage can set up a big beater that cant be ignored and is easily recurrable with Crucible of Worlds. Torment of Hailfire is just a crazy powerful card that attacks your opponents from every angle. Its recurrable with past in flames and is just one of my favorite finishers.
