Parte 1: Regras gerais do Legacy:

1: Mínimo de sessenta cards no grimório.
2: Sem tamanho máximo de deck, contanto que você consiga embaralhar sem ajuda.
3: Até quinze cards na reserva, se for usada.
4: Existem cards banidos e são os mesmos da Lista de Banidas do Legacy.

Parte 2: Regra de ouro do Sacola:

1: A soma dos valores em Dólares Americanos do deck MAIS a reserva (sideboard) não pode ultrapassar a quantia de U$10,00.
2: A origem da fonte de preços padrão para os cards é o site: http://www.starcitygames.com .
3: Os terrenos básicos não-nevados: Planície, Ilha, Pântano, Montanha e Floresta não são computados no orçamento do deck, mas entram no somatório, caso estejam presentes no sideboard.
4: Os valores devem ser tomados como O MENOR na condição MINT/NEAR MINT e no idioma INGLÊS, não sendo necessário que o card esteja em estoque no momento.

Parte 3: Observações:

1: VARIAÇÕES: Sempre que forem organizados torneios as regras podem ser adaptadas para o que melhor agradar os participantes, bastando que todos sigam a mesma variação.

2: TERRENOS: O desconto dos terrenos básicos no deck se dá basicamente pelo conceito de que os terrenos básicos (clássicos) possuem valor insignificante. Eles podem até ser "doados" para jogadores que não tenham condição de adquirir. Algumas lojas chegam a oferecer estes terrenos emprestados para a participação de drafts. Terrenos básicos nevados podem oferecer uma "vantagem indevida" ao serem ignorados no orçamento, além de possuírem um valor financeiro que na prática é desproporcional aos terrenos básicos clássicos. Raciocínio similar faz com que os terrenos do tipo Wastes também estejam fora do desconto. Caso estes passem a constar nas demais edições de magic, isso poderá ser revisado. A consideração dos terrenos básicos que estão no sideboard é necessária para que não se faça uso "proposital" da vantagem de não estarem computados no geral.

3: PREÇOS: Cartas que estão em pré-venda e cards de outros idiomas (Non-English Singles) não podem ter seu valor utilizado na cotação do deck. O site starcitygames.com é a fonte padrão por seu tamanho e relevância nas negociações de magic. Existem casos de jogadores adotarem outras fontes e também equivalências na própria ligamagic, porém é necessário fixar a fonte para padronizar os decks no geral. Ficar também adicionando e removendo fontes é prejudicial. O importante é agregar jogadores, de forma menos restritiva mas valorizando o diferencial do formato de se ter decks realmente muito baratos.

4: OBJETIVO: O Sacola não foi criado para competir com outros formatos. Ele visa apenas ser uma opção com novas possibilidades tanto de pareamento como de variação de metagame. A vantagem é agregar de forma mais fácil, equilibrar jogos com jogadores novos e diminuir o impacto restritivo da questão financeira nas partidas.
