Duelist Ojutai (Casual) (EDH / Commander)

Casual Value-Centric Ojutai Deck trying to steal wins with Atemsis, All-Seeing and spontaneous kills with Duelist's Heritage. Has a controlling sub-theme centered around efficient draw-spells (Ponder, Opt), countermagic, bouncing effects, and ways to generate pressure against a single opponent. Plays a semi-political game at the multiplayer table by assembling a group of morph creatures and dissuading aggression from opponents by establishing low threat levels.

Truthfully, I anticipate this deck will have a difficult time closing games out, but will probably be very fun to pilot. Has difficulty with all-in aggressive decks with evasion or combo-kills (Animar, Karador, Alesha, or any version of non-control cEDH deck). It's real purpose is to be a very powered-down version of more traditional UW control variants like Chain Veil Teferi and Infinite Brago, meant for the more casual table.

Will most likely decide down the line to adjust the deck towards either Ojutai Unblockable/Morphs or a more Azorius-themed forecast/detain/addendum sphinx-style deck. Either way, I liked the splashy spells and I never really get to use them, so there they are. Also I think I'll enjoy encouraging people to go in on each-other with duelist's heritage. Some sneaky kills are sure to follow.
