Using Arcane adaptation makes both the combo elements and the mana base of this deck much more stable. Make sure you name Birds for arcane adaptation and unclaimed territory! Essentially you want to use your early and mid game deathtouchers to harass your opponents board while you build toward your combo.

Arcane adaptation makes all your creatures birds, this means even if you don’t have tokens from Pride of the clouds to sacrifice you can sack any of your creatures. A cool trick you can do is block a big threat then sack in response to blocking using seaside haven meaning you get a free block, draw a card, and put a counter on your soul catcher aerie. If your going up against a more control type deck than I wouldn’t rely on getting the combo off this way simply use the pride of the clouds tokens as sack material instead and spread out your threats to exhaust their control even if they break the combo engine.

The soulcatcher creature makes this combo even more potent as every time a bird dies aka you sacking one to seaside haven soul catchers aerie triggers and he himself triggers if he’s on the field.

The combo involves a little bit of a complex interaction with how the blocking and damage phases are separate, the stacking of effect triggers, and a lot of alterations to creatures powers and toughness so you may want to practice with this to especially if your new to combo decks.

The Doven’s Veto, the walls, and the Batwing Brune are for defense. Since this deck is meant for multiplayer it may draw team up hate killing if they sense the combo on the horizon.
