Mono Brown (EDH / Commander)

I love artifact combo decks, but things like Breya or Emry are a little to easy to make consistent and thus are a little too strong for my casual meta.

I decided to build mono brown because I love old frame artifacts and I like the forced limitation that comes from only using colourless cards.

The deck is basically looking to do all the things that artifacts do well. Make a shit ton of mana, untap for advantage and synergise.

Some combos/synergies I would look to assemble:

An artifact cost reducer (Foundry Inspector or Jhoira's Familiar)

Ashnod's Altar
Myr Turbine

A rock that taps for 3+ mana (Thran dynamo, Basalt Monolith, A charged Everflowing Chalice)

A couple of recursion creatures to loop (Myr Retriever and Junk Diver for example)

As will most artifact combos, there are more cumbersome ways of doing a lot of this stuff too. For example, with cost reducers out and ashnod's altar, you can loop the recursion creatures over and over creating infinite mana, etbs, deaths etc. Above is just some of the more succinct combos.

Not quite sure how I want to win yet. Might throw in a Goblin Cannon for an infinite mana outlet. Might throw in a Dragon Throne of Tarkir and a Skyshaper and kill people with animated mana rocks.
