To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
My very first IRL deck over the years became this.
Quest for Ula's Temple is the name of the game here. You'll really want to have it in your opening hand or draw into it if you're going second. Pray that your next card is a creature so you can get a counter and hopefully cast Faerie Seer, Omenspeaker, or Augury Owl on turn two.
Mana is really light but luckily we won't be hard casting much. Worst case scenario you'll want to pay three to suspend Deep-Sea Kraken, or pay four for Whelming Wave in a pinch. You'll likely be out of Mana, so be careful if you side in and want to hold a Negate.
If you have three counters on QfUT, you'll want to spam out your big boys each end step. Remember, they're not being cast, so they can't be countered. If I could choose what order to play one of each creature without the sideboard, it would be Serpent of Yawning Depths, Aethersquall Ancient (on opponent's ES), Deep-Sea Kraken, Inkwell Leviathan, then Tromokratis.
It's the classic, "Beat them down until their life is zero" strategy.
Sideboard strats: Shapesharer can copy board threats or multiply your sea creatures. Grozoth can tutor sea creatures (specifically Inkwell Leviathan ) to thin out your library and fill your hand. If anyone is playing enchantment hate I typically side out Aethersquall Ancient, Tromokratis, Opt and one Omenspeaker, and side in Grozoth, Inkwell Leviathan, and four Counterspell. Other times I'll cut back elsewhere to squeeze in Shapesharer if my opponent has creatures that may help me.
This deck is an absolute glass canon and I love it.
