To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This deck was made because I saw a post a while back challenging people to make a three-commander deck, with two Partners and a Companion. I had a previous attempt at it, but it was shitty and never saw completion. Decided to try again, and came up with this. It's not great, but it should work alright. There's a lot of janky, terrible little interactions that aren't actually particularly good but can cheese out some wins maybe.
Alena is a really good mana generator if you have ways to cheat out free creatures, and between them, Zirda and Livio can bounce any creature for 2 mana. This, in conjunction with shit like Aether Vial and Thousand-Year Elixir, means you can get a lot of mana without much difficulty.
You might ask why there are so many equipment cards-well, since equipping is an "activated ability" it too gets it's cost reduced by 2, and it's a great way to pump up creatures for free mana off of Alena. Moonsilver Spear is the only exception to this, and it's in because it gives a 4/4 angel that can be used with Alena for free.
If you really need an effective game-closer, Inferno of the Star Mounts can do a ton of damage to any opponent, and if you can spend 4 mana on it without Alena, Alena will give you the 10 reds you need to get it to 20 damage.
Two-Headed Dragon is actually a jank little mana doubler in this deck because it's +2/+0 ability only costs 1 mana with Zirda out.
