Esper control (Casual)

Control your opponent and finish him with a strong creature. You are equipped with removals, counters and drawing cards to continue with the control. Moreover you have a lot of lands. Every turn you should be able to use a land.

The main strategy of the deck is to gain tempo with your removals and counters until reaching the late game (with 8 or 9 lands). In the end game you are so much powerful, because you can deny more spells, cast a strong creature, and draw cards more often, while the enemy has lost his potential due to your removals and has 1 or 2 cards in hand. Conclusión : your advantage is in your hand (card advantage), not in the field. So you need lands to cast them. The more lands, the better.

With this deck, you always should have in mind a strategy. You must focus in counter or remove cards what are valuable for the enemy. For example if he is using a vehicle or equipment deck, don't counter vehicles but don't let him have creatures on the board.

The drawback of this deck is its start. It's hard not being out of the game wthout protections. This is why kaya's wrath and syncopate are so important in the start.
