To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This deck is designed at its core to be thematic, but still pack a heavy punch with even greater sustain.
The goal is to use evasion to protect your powerful angels from removal, while using aerial superiority to dominate the board.
If you can get worship to activate, your life total becomes basically meaningless no matter how high or low it becomes.Even if it becomes impossible to get worship from Serra, the deck can still win just through shear brute force and a monstrous amount of life gain.
This deck is most vulnerable to board wipes as such there is an eerie interlude in the main board to help avoid it and it can set you up for monstrous life gain and swing for win the next turn.
In the early game resplendent angel is a major target for removal, due to her ability to create more angels, most players will try to kill her, keeping her alive with ephemerate is a great option for every removal they waste trying to remove her is one less to be dealt with later. (if you have a bishop on the board you will be gaining life as long as evading)
One of best opening hands this deck can have is starting with a seraph sanctuary , bishop of wings and a resplendent angel. As long as you have 2 other white mana sources, on the end of turn 3 you will gain 11 life and have 7 power in the air.
Eldritch Evolution found a home in this deck mostly due to each of the angels can evolve into something you may need. Putting a sigarda or lyra on the board during 2nd main of turn 4 is always great and not expected.
