To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
My playgroup decided to build commander decks using only commons and uncommons (any number) because it seemed like an interesting way to level set cost and power level.
Be explosive
Go wide/tall quickly with large threats
Occasionally go infinite, but not in an overly degenerate non-interactive way. All of my infinite combos are persist driven and result in infinite creatures w/out impact tremors type nonsense. I am always dependent on the attack step to win, and this is by design.
Grumgully, the generous + Aerie Ouphes = wrath all flyers that are not hexproof or shrouded
Grumgully, the generous + Any persist Creature + Any sac Outlet + Anax, Hardened in the forge = infinite 2/2 satyr tokens
... + Betrothed of Fire = infinitely large creature
... Green persist creature + Ivy Lane Denizen = all creatures infinitely large
... Persist creature with power >=3 + Elemental Bond = draw the entire deck
... + Wildwood Scourge = infinitely large creature
Arlinn, Voice of the Pack creates 4/4s every turn and with proliferate stays big.
Broodhatch Nantuko and Saber Ants - army in a box, flood the board with 2/2, especially on defense
Warbreak Trumpeter/Howl of the Nightpack - flood insurance, army in a box
+1/+1 Counters Payoffs
Rage Forger AKA the pauper Hellrider
Bramblewood Paragon and Pridemalkin, for a bit of evasion
Battlefront Krushok, makes blocking alot more difficult
Ainok Survivalist - too slow
Blood Aspirant - just win more
Carnage Altar - too slow
Nissa's Judgment - worse Monstrous Onslaught, counters irrelevant
Primal Growth - hardly ever kicked, and w/out kicker too inefficient
Roaring Primadox - just win more, and horrendous liability when losing
Saber Ants - too obvious, never get value off it
Spawning Pit - too efficient and not interactable, unfun game experience
Springbloom Druid - lands enter tapped, too inefficient and body is mostly irrelevant
Evolving Wilds - Unnecessary, better to sub in utility lands since mana is easily fixed
Urza's Factory - too slow
Vivien's Grizzly - activation too expensive and too conditional
