To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Many cheap creatures and artifact lands to play the Mycosynth Golem as fast as possible. With Tinker and Mox Opal it's possible to play the Mycosynth Golem already in the second round. If you want the Deck to be MODERN LEGAL, you can simply replace Tinker with Fabricate. Steel Overseer boosts my creatures and increases the number of +1/+1-counters on the modular creatures. Skullclamp and Myr Servitor/Myr-Retriever makes it possible to draw cards/creatures which you can play immidately if the Mycosynth Golem is in play. Tinker/Fabricate is useful because you can sacrifice a myr or a modular creature to boost any of the other modular creatures and bring an Overseer or Mycosynth Golem into play. Skeleton Shard is also a very useful card if you do that. If the Mycosynth Golem is already in play, this combo can be really dangerous for the opponent. (Bring Overseer into play, sacrifice it, put it back into your hand with the Shard, play it and keep it in play or sacrifice it again) Ornithopter makes sure, that you can block flying creatures. If the opponent doesn't have any flying creatures, you can sacrifice the Arcbound Ravager and transfer the +1/+1-counters onto the Ornithopter to finish him off. Artificer's intuition helps you to get the Skullclamp-Myr Servitor combo or to get some special artifact lands if you don't draw the right ones (Vault of Whispers for Skeleton Shard). I put Disciple of the Vault into the side as well as many other cards which could fit in that deck. Instead of playing 4 Overseers you could replace them with Energy Chambers, because a creature might be easier to destroy than the Energy Chamber and... it makes the deck less expensive... Deadly combos with Disciple of the Vault: Mycosynth Golem - 2 Myr-Retriever (1 in graveyard) - Arcbound Ravager - Disciple of the Vault. Same thing with Skullclamp - Myr-Retrievers - Mycosynth Golem, because you can actually play the whole deck sacrifice the Myr-Retrievers to pump up the Ravager, sacrifice the Ravager for itself, put the +1/+1-counters on an Arcbound Crusher and attack the opponent. Tinker --> Darksteel Forge... Nothing more to say ;) But if you use Fabricate instead of Tinker, Darksteel Forge will be useless, because it will rarely happen, that you get 9 mana before the game is over.
