To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is an EDH / Commander deck based on tribal Knights and Equipements themes.
We would first rate this deck as a midrange strategy deck considering the mana curve, but since the EDH meta of my playing group is a bit slow, I'd almost say it's aggro sometimes.
On the first hand we'll try to build the biggest board of the table by playing with knights buffs and equipments stats, and keep it strong all over the game. The main tools we have here are the card draw abilities, such as Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, Liliana's Standard Bearer, and later Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale itself. We also need to protect our creatures from board wipes and other control spells, with some buffs given by Conqueror's Flail, Shield of Kaldra, or Knight Exemplar. Some equipement tutors are also here to help our knights getting bigger like Steelshaper's Gift, Stoneforge Mystic or Stonehewer Giant.
All of our tools are here to be strong from the beginning and not getting weaker as far as the game lasts. Maybe the biggest threat we'd have to deal with is the way we want to win : Attacking people will make us the main target to destroy, before the real late control decks are putting their pieces together. So the strategy should be a bit tought to handle so we can fully benefit from our strenghts.
