MTG Goldfish once made a deck based around Endless Whispers and a metric boatload of removal, finally winning by getting down Phage, the Untouchable, and removing it themselves. The deck suffered against graveyard hate, since it was a little slow, had no option to remove the hate, and didn't have any back-up plans (oof I feel too critical).

This deck uses manifest with Endless Whispers, which is much faster. A variety of cards let you get the right cards on top of your deck and manifest them (usually Eater of Days). If you get Eater of Days, then flip it for 4 Generic mana, and you've got a massive creature. Add Endless Whispers, and your opponent loses two turns for killing your creature (and you can potentially reclaim it by dropping Damnation and having Golgari Thug and Sultai Emissary down).

If you pull of getting Phage manifested on turn 3 and Endless Whispers down on turn 4, you practically have a 2/2 with "When this creature dies, target player loses the game."

Assassin's Trophy and some other Sideboard options handle most graveyard hate, manifesting speeds up the deck to potentially getting the Phage/Endless Whispers combo to go off on turn 4, and manifesting Eater of Days gives you a back-up plan if your opponent has a solid counter to Endless Whispers.
