Urza Poly Kraken is a cEDH midrange infinite mana combo deck with heavy stax.

first I would like to credit the youtube channel West Coast Commander from which I took the basic build for the deck:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0sG6SAp8_M

And also I would like to recommend to anyone who wants to pilot cEDH Urza the Urza guide from Eisenherz, which is the best guide to Urza, to my knowledge:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTHQQ4-Ty8o

Without further ado let's begin the deck tech.

  1. infinite Mana
We have 3 ways to generate infinite mana in this deck:
    1.1 Grim Power
If we have Grim Monolith on the field, we can enchant it with Power Artifact. Then we tap it for 3 mana and untap it for 2. Repeat the loop for infinite mana.
    1.2 Dramatic Scepter
We can play Isochron Scepter and inprint Dramatic Reversal in it. Then we tap mana rocks for 3 or more mana, cast the imprinted Dramatic Reversal to untap all your nonland permanents and repeat for infinite mana.
    1.3 Kraken Rocks
With Hullbreaker Horror and manapositive rocks in play, we can cast any spell to bounce one rock, then playing it again to bounce another, always taping them for mana before bouncing. we can loop this with sorcery speed for infinite mana.

  2. Polymorph
We play Hullbreaker Horror as the only creature in this deck so that we can Polymorph the Construct Token that Urza creates and get the 1.3 combo as basicly a 1 card combo with either Polymorph or Proteus Staff.

  3. Winning the game
Urza is known as a winconless deck, because when we have infinite mana, we don't have a way to win the game on the spot. What we want to do at that point is to create a boardstate that is basicly unbeatable. Our best way to do this is to bounce our opponents nonland permanents with Hullbreaker Horror, then clear their hands with a wheel spell, like Windfall, and Narset, Parter of Veils in play and loop Urza with any other permanent spell in the Hullbreaker loop to create infinite Construct Tokens. there are many other ways to loop your deck, for more info of that i would again recomment the guide from Eisenherz at the top.

  4. Stax
In Urza we can play a quite evil stax list with Back to Basics, because of our basic land count, Winter Orb, Static Orb and Trinisphere, because with Urza we can just tap them to not suffer the effect, and Narset, Parter of Veils, because why not.

  5. Ramp
I play the standart package of ramp in Urza. Not much to say here, but if you want to make budget cuts, cut Mox Diamond, its easily the worst and most expensive rock.

  6. Counter Magic
I play basicly the cEDH counterspell-list with mana efficient spells, like Force of Will or Force of Negation. One typical Urza spell is Muddle the Mixture because it can tutor you all parts of the 1.1 and 1.2 combos. I personaly don't like soft counters, but Spell Pierce and Miscast are very good in cEDH and also very budget friendy.

  7. Board Control
I don't play that much board control, if you want to increase it I recommend Pongify, Submerge or Into the Roil.

  8. Card Draw
Also very basic card draw with Rhystic Study an Mystic Remora as your main card draw. Recurring Insight is a very strong option in my opinion and I personaly like Paradoxical Outcome because of the ramp potential. Otherwise very basic cantrips and wheels. One specific Urza thing are Mishra's Bauble and Urza's Bauble which can either be used to thin your deck or as mana rocks in your infinite mana combos.

  9. Tutors
I play all the tutors for artifacts, sorcerys and instant that are viable in cEDH. If you want to make a budget cut here, cut Transmute Artifact. If you just don't want to play that many, you can cut Personal Tutor or Reshape, as the worst tutors in the deck.

  10. Lands
I play a 29 lands count with 19 basics, because of Back to Basics. Notable nonbasics are Urza's Saga, which is a must-include, and Mystic Sanctuary, which is very useful and also fetchable.

  11. Budget Decisions
This deck is overall very nonbudget, but I don't play 2 cards that I would play if I would have the money for them. These cards are Timetwister and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale. Timetwister is a better version of Echo of Eons and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale is very good creature hate, which is nice in a deck with almost no creatures. I have also seen that many Urza list are playing Mishra's Workshop as a very expensive card, but I cannot recommend it because we can't cast Urza or our blue spells with it, and our artifacts are so cheap that we don't need that amount of mana to cast them, which makes a basic island a better card, in my opinion. If you want to make a budget deck I advice you to get expensive counterspells like Force of Will, before anything else, you can even cut Grim Monolith and Power Artifact before those, because interaction is more importent in a midrange deck than the worst infinite combo, optimal mana rocks, optimal tutors or optimal card draw. If you cut cards from this list for budget reason, but don't want to replace them you can easily thin out you deck with cantrips like Serum Visions, Portent and Impulse. Otherwise I recommend to increase the board control count, which can be quite cheap to do.
My recommended list to cut cards, in Order, are:
Mox Diamond, Transmute Artifact, Intuition, Time Spiral, Power Artifact, Grim Monolith, Jeweled Lotus, Copy Artifact, Personal Tutor, Mana Drain, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, Force of Negation, Fierce Guardianship, Cyclonic Rift, Force of Will.
