Hey everyone!

Let me introduce you to my Lazav, The Multifarious Voltron deck.

The goal of this deck is rather simple, yet efficient: use a lot of cards that draw and discard, so you can put creatures in your graveyard, and copy them with Lazav (at instant speed) for various effects. Lazav's ability being instant speed, we can copy something in response to a removal for protection, or copy an unblockable, then one of our win-con once no blockers can be declared.

All creatures in this deck are useful when in the yard, and many of them are useful outside of it too. All creatures that were only useful outside of the graveyard were cut however.

(This is the main difference I see between my deck and other Lazav decks: I've decided to completely disregard cards like Doom Whisperer, or House Guildmage, and focused entirely on cards I could benefit from once they died/ were discarded).

I also opted for looting (draw/discard) instead of milling, so this way we'd never be in a situation where a card we don't want in our graveyard ends up there.

Due to all the redundancy in this deck, as well as the many tutors included in it, this deck is VERY consistent, and I win fairly often with it. All the looting as well as the super low CMC of the deck also makes it very fast, and killing a player on turn 5 is entirely possible.

Be warned though: once you start one-shotting players with Infect, you WILL be seen as a threat, and people will go out of their way to kill Lazav,

Keeping Lazav on the board is your priority. This is why we run a very high amount of creatures that can protect Lazav with hexproof (Invisible Stalker), Indestructible (Darksteel Myr), or by virtue of not being creatures (Thassa, God of the Sea is bae). Waiting for the right moment to cast Lazav is crucial to this deck, as people will remove it on sight if they're familiar with him, and keeping Mana open at ALL TIME is mandatory. Do this, and Lazav will be extremely hard to remove.

We also run a bunch of removal/counterspells to protect ourselves and keep threats in check, as well as Propaganda / Crawlspace for protection against aggro decks or decks that go wide/tall.

Win-cons in this deck include:

-Any unblockable, followed by Phage the Untouchable for a one hit kill.

-Any unblockable, followed by Phyrexian Dreadnought, Eater of Days or Hunted Horror to win through commander damage.

-The above, but copy Vector Asp to give your commander Infect beforehand. This is a one hit kill with Dreadnought.

-Psychatog can be used to make Lazav big and swing for commander damage/infect. This works especially well with Blighted Agent.

-Crackdown Construct + any 0 CMC creature allows you to make Lazav infinite/infinite. In this deck I run Ornithopter and Memnite, but this also works with Endless One, Phyrexian Walker, etc. If they don't have flyers you don't even need an unblockable to take a player out.
