One of my favorite archetypes in Magic is artifact. I played several artifact-based commanders, but after Urza, Lord High Artificer, I fell in love with Breya, Etherium Shaper because of its versatility in deckbuilding.

For years I played the deck according different buildings and only recently I have found a list I like it (level 5). I decided to maintain an elevated number of combos, but I preferred to focus on a shell which allows the interactions among artifacts and creates value on the board. Moreover, I decided to "protect" my commander during the games because I noticed that casting it a second time it would be complex and not always affordable. This "protection" relies on casting commander only when you are going to assemble the combo and win the game. Beside the artifact interactions, I dedicated 4 slots to counters to have a response while I am assembling the combo.

COMBOS

1) Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek + Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks (optional: Breya, Etherium Shaper)

All pieces must be on the battlefield and you need 1 mana. Activate Thopter Foundry by paying 1 and sacrificing Sword of the Meek, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and gaining 1 life. The Thopter token enters the battlefield, triggering Sword of the Meek, returning Sword of the Meek to the battlefield equipped to the Thopter. Activate Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing the Thopter token, adding 2 colorless mana. Repeat. You will create infinite number of 1/1 Thopther tokens. If you also control Breya, Etherium Shaper, you can activate infinite times the commander's activate ability to deal 3 damages to an opponent.

2) Breya, Etherium Shaper + Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks

All pieces must be on the battlefield and you control at least two additional creatures. Alternatively, Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks must be on the battlefield and you cast Breya, Etherium Shaper having two 1/1 Thopter tokens with its ETB ability. Activate Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing two additional creatures, adding 4 colorless mana. Activate Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing Breya, Etherium Shaper, adding 2 colorless mana. Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Breya, Etherium Shaper from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
Breya, Etherium Shaper enters the battlefield, creating two 1/1 Thopter tokens. Repeat. Once you have infinite colorless mana, you may use it to activate Breya's other abilities.

3) Thopter Foundry + Time Sieve + Sword of the Meek

All pieces must be on the battlefield and you need 5 mana each turn. Activate Thopter Foundry by paying 1 and sacrificing Sword of the Meek, creating a 1/1 Thopter creature token and gaining 1 life. The Thopter token enters the battlefield, triggering Sword of the Meek, returning it to the battlefield and attaching it to the Thopter token. Repeat until you have 5 Thopter tokens. Activate Time Sieve by tapping it and sacrificing 5 Thopter tokens, taking an extra turn after this one. Move to your next turn. Repeat.

4) Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve

All pieces must be on the battlefield, you have not to control any other Thopter creature and you need 6 mana each turn. At the beginning of your turn, you let Thopter Assembly's ability triggering and create 5 1/1 Thopther tokens. Sacrifice Thopter tokens by activating Time Sieve. Cast Thopter Assembly. Move to your next turn. Repeat. This combo is a variation of the aforementioned combo.
