Dwarves and Dragons (Standard)

Standard Gruul Dwarves and Dragons deck.

Strategies:

Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Dragonkin Berserker do amazing things when dwarves or dragons are on the field. Since there is no dwarf-dragon card, shapeshifters instead fill the role of both.

Goldspan Dragon enables both of these cards really well by being a dragon as well as making treasure tokens and is just a very good card on its own.

Terror of Mount Velus can be summoned from the deck using Magda or hard cast using all the mana she or Goldspan Dragon make from treasure tokens.

Realmwalker can act as a dragon/dwarf and allows you to cast them from the top of your deck (the first copy will usually call dwarves since there are more of those in the deck).

Masked Vandal can also as as a dragon/dwarf as well as offering artifact/enchantment removal.

Guardian Gladewalker is the last dwarf/dragon that can buff something important when it comes into play.

Vault Robber has very good synergy with Magda. If his ability is used with her on the field, 2 treasure tokens are made.

Seize the Spoils is used over Cathardic Reunion because it creates a treasure token which has more synergy in this deck.

Fire Prophecy is a cheap removal card that can also be used to draw a card and put something like Terror of Mount Velus on the bottom of your library.

Kenrith's Transformation is a great card draw/creature removal spell to deal with opponents' important creatures.

Gadrak, the Crown-Scourge could be a good card in this deck as well as The Great Henge. They might be considered in the future.
