Deck forever under construction
Queen Marchesa is an open build commander that promotes drawing into answers and creating a 1/1 "answer" when someone steals the Monarchy. Monarchy is one of the best mechanics in EDH, promoting combat and politics. You WANT to lose the Monarchy each turn, keep Marchesa on the board, reap the benefit of a 1/1 Haste, Deathtouch, then regain the Monarchy during combat.
I take back what is mine: Break through the opponent's line, regain the Monarchy.
A 1/1 Haste, Deathtouch usually does the trick. Attack with Marchesa to pressure other opponents or regain the Monarchy when the 1/1 won’t pass through. Evade package to guarantee connection to reliably gain the Monarchy and trigger all attack triggers each pass.
Why not benefit off the guaranteed combat you're committing to? Creatures with combat trigger abilities allow for additional card draw, impulse draw, +1 counters, x/y token creation, gold/treasure tokens, etc.
Let Them Fight Over It
Losing the Monarchy is a pollical move. Give the option for a player to swing a small 1/1 at you, incentivizing them to attack other players with the brunt of their force. Choose which opponent you allow a free swing. Once an opponent has the Monarchy, other opponents fight for it on the way back to your turn. Run abilities that amplify or further push opponents to combat during each pass.
