To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
The win strategy is to play creature after creature until you chip away at your opponents health so much that they lose. The twist is, everything keeps coming back from the grave with more abilities that it had before via The Ozolith or Call of the Death-Dweller.
Turn 1: The Ozolith
Turn 2: Boot Nipper with a Deathtouch counter on it. Either attack next turn or defend. (You want this to die)
Turn 3: Silversmote Ghoul. Attach the Deathtouch counter from The Ozolith.
Turn 4: Attack and cast Unexpected Fangs. Gain three life. Sacrifice Silversmote Ghoul, draw a card, put the +1/+1, Lifelink and Deathtouch counters on The Ozolisk. Silversmote Ghoul returns at end of turn.
Turn 5: Spirit of Malevolence. Serrated Scorpion. At the start of combat, attach the counters to Silversmote Ghoul. Attack. Sacrifice Silversmote Ghoul, draw a card, put any counters on The Ozolisk.
Etc..
The fun starts when you attach a menace counter to something, along with Giant's Skewer. Try to keep a life gain total of 3 per turn for maximum efficiency, but once Vito is on the field, it really doesn't matter.
Boot Nipper: Used to put either a deathtouch or lifelink counter into play. Keeps the early rush damage to a minimum.
Duskfang Mentor: Used to put a lifelink counter into play and to pump up life link creatures, enabling Vito to be more effective.
Grimdancer: This card puts a menace, lifelink or deathtouch counter into play.
Massacre Wurm: I picked this card because you play it, clear your opponents chump blockers, attach all the counters to another creature (hopefully lifelink and menace) and then get in a few more hits for the win.
Nightmare Shepherd: This card is more of a late game card. It can be used to bring a version of something back and still get the counters. Also great for getting a second use out of Massacre Wurm.
Serrated Scorpion: Helpful for getting in 2 more points of damage. 4 with Vito.
Silversmote Ghoul: This is a wonderful card for almost everything this deck does. It provides a recyclable card draw mechanic. It can even set up the trigger for bringing itself back from the grave with lifelink. Provides decent aggro. Very annoying against pacify decks, as it can sacrifice itself and then reappear later.
Spirit of Malevolence: Partners great with Serrated Scorpion to provide 3+ points of health, in various combinations, to keep Silversmote Ghoul on the field or to help Vito to double damage (kind of).
Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose: Provides various win conditions and just an overall awesome card. When played on turn 8, can provide an almost instant win with lifelink.
Unexpected Fangs: Used to put a lifelink and +1/+1 counter into play.
Village Rites: Used in response to opponent kill spells. By killing your creature first, you either deny them any benefit from killing your creature (Bake into a Pie) or give yourself two cards. Think of it like having your opponent spend mana to give you two cards.
Call of the Death-Dweller: Useful for bringing cards back to put various counters onto the field.
Pestilence Haze: Useful card for clearing out tokens, blockers, flyers, etc.
Giant's Skewer: Reusable food token creator. Very handy for removing massive chunks of your opponents life with Vito.
Shadowspear: Provides a very handy trample, +1/+1, lifelink ability to a creature. Can also remove those unsightly hexproof stains.
The Ozolith: Almost tailor made for this deck. It is a counter deposit box that enables most of the functionality of this deck.
Witch's Cauldron: Used to remove various combinations of creatures allowing you to: complete 3 health (activating Silversmote Ghoul), reassign counters (by killing something that has counters on it that you don't want), pinging your opponent for 1 point of damage (Vito for the win), etc..
