Synopsis

It's a fine line to assemble a build that can play out a variety of plans effectively without losing focus. This tuned-casual deck brings together Evra, Halcyon Witness as a Voltron win-con along with a few tools to get Near-Death Experience online as an alternative.

Evra is your main win-con, trading it's power for your life before striking a mighty, life-linking blow to an opponent. Protection and equipment are laced into the deck to facilitate this path.

Plan B - use these to find combo pieces Near-Death Experience & Tarnished Citadel. The Golden Throne, Dollhouse of Horrors (copying Evra if she's in the graveyard) or Worship are other means to get your life to 1.

Moon-Blessed Cleric - tutor Near-death, repeatable if you flicker it.

How it works:

From any life total from 4 and up, you can win with these cards on your own. With Near-Death Experience, Tarnished Citadel and Evra on the battlefield. In the end phase before your turn, activate Evra to swap your life total with her power, which leaves you at 4 (not necessary if you happen to be at 4), then tap Tarnished for a mana at the cost of 3 life, leaving you at one. You then win in your upkeep.

The Golden Throne (or Worship) can work instead of Tarnished to keep your life at 1.

Dollhouse of Horrors - If Evra dies, you can leave her in the graveyard and bring her back as a 1/1 flying token. This is actually the most direct way to achieve the goal as you can both bring her back and activate her in the end step before your turn begins, leaving you at 1 life.

Running the deck

Blink effects, card draw & utility on an array of low to the ground, ETB permanents sets up a carousel of repeatable perks to keep your hand full and board state protected as well as providing repeatable removal.

Combat Thresher - blink it to have it return at full power/toughness.

Notes

Phial of Galadriel - Doubles life gain when you are at or below 5 life, which you will be after activating Evra, use it to double the life you gain back.
Preston, the Vanisher - creates tokens of your creatures after they come back from exile, chance to double ETB's.
