Combos & Win Cons
The combos in this deck are classics, but I'll explain them in case you aren't familiar.

  1. Infinite Colored Mana: Pili Pala + Grand Architect (requires 1 blue mana to make the scarecrow blue and start the loop)
  2. Infinite Extra Turns: Sage of Hours + Ezuri, Claw of Progress (requires you to have built up 5 experience counters with Ezuri, removing Ezuri will stop the loop)

As for win cons, mainly you're going to knock out your opponents with combat damage, but there's a few ways you can get there.

  1. The old fashioned way: just keep as many creatures on board as you can and be aggressive.
  2. Biomass Mutation: since most of the creatures are weak, turning all those puny little unblockables into X/X brawlers is a great way to close out the game with a flourish. The more mana you can dump into it, the better.
  3. Infinite Turns (above)

Alternative win cons:

  1. Draw your deck and win (Infinite Mana loop above + Laboratory Maniac + Blue Sun's Zenith, OR Infinite Turns + any card draw + combat damage + Lab Man)
  2. Triumph of the Hordes: if you have enough creatures to deal 10 damage to each opponent, you can win with infect in one fell swoop.
  3. Blue Sun's Zenith: a potential piece of the Lab Man puzzle above, but it's also possible to force an opponent to deck themselves with this card, especially if you can get to infinite mana. (BSZ will only knock out 1 opponent, so it's less of a 'win con' and more of a game finisher, but still.)

Optimization Notes
This deck is highly focused/tuned, but not optimized. Part of the reason for that is lack of cards that would make this better and part of that is I just enjoy the deck where it's at. I could easily turn this into a heavy-hitting combo deck, but I personally don't think combo decks are fun in the long-haul; if you do, then I recommend a Thassa's Oracle or tuning up some of the other combos above. This deck could also go the spellslinger route with a lot more counterspells and interaction; there's creatures I'm missing (see Maybeboard); etc. Overall though this deck is quite good already, and very fun to boot.
