8 Rack (Modern)

The only decks that don't well against this one are either red aggro (prowess) or blue control with card draw. Putting in an Ensnaring bridge and a Dragon's claw helped this issue. As for blue control, usually playing a discard spell forcing them to play a counterspell technically does the same thing. They discard the spell by casting it. I will say though, It entirely depends on your starting hand and what you get top decking. I've gone games dishing out my discard spells with no The Rack in hand and just getting beat down hoping to pull one off the top. Waste Not fixes this somewhat, but it is usually best to start with The Rack in hand and look for a Wrench mind.

One tip: always take the draw rather than be on the play (depending on the matchup of course). Having them play cards before dishing out discard spells will reduce your opponent's hand faster.
For example:
-You win the dice roll
-Be on the draw
-They place a land and maybe play another card on turn one.
-By your turn, they either are going to have 6 or 5 cards in hand.

Considering most of the cards in this deck only cost CMC 2 or less in this deck, I might remove a swamp and add in another shrieking affliction to make it 12 rack.
