Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander and the 99 are commons.

EDIT: Will most likely rework this deck into a Kardur, Doomscourge deck.

Welcome to the arena of Rakdos where the mad and the brave fight for bloody glory! Here we have Carnage Gladiator who incentivizes aggression over defence.

The deck is built around Carnage Gladiator's unique ability that deals damage to players if their creatures block. To take advantage of this we run a ton of cheap, recursive creatures that don't mind dying for the amusement of Rakdos. We also have Unearth, Wander in Death and Dead Revels to bring back more.

We also run a lot of ways to sacrifice the creatures that do get blocked; Makeshift Munitions, Lampad of Death's Vigil, Spark Reaper, Bushmeat Poacher and cards like Village Rites.

But we can instead use combat tricks on our creatures to push through damage & keep them around. For that we use Run Amok, Temur Battle Rage and pre-emptively Undying Rage.

To make up for their low attack values we have cards like Impact Tremors, Raid Bombardment, Falkenrath Noble and in combination with our commander; Goblin War Drums (two blocks - two life lost)

A lot of our creatures bring back another as they die / etb (Pit Keeper, Cadaver Imp etc) but others are usually 2 bodies (or more) per card, either as they enter the battlefield (Mogg War Marshal, Forbidden Friendship etc) or when they die (Doomed Dissenter, Butcher Ghoul etc). There's also creatures that cantrip as we play them (Dusk Legion Zealot, Skyscanner etc).

Our curve is really low so we don't require a lot of ramp but we have the ones with manafixing; Wayfarer's Bauble, Arcane Signet, Rakdos Signet and Bonder's Ornament. The deck also runs Prying Blade & Explorer's Scope due to all the attacking.

For removal we mostly have efficient spot removal like Terminate, Snuff Out and notably Seal of Doom, which ideally dissuades opponents from attacking us. At the moment Pestilence is in the deck since it fits the slug-esque nature of the deck but it's also a bit of a nonbo since we want creatures on the board most of the time. For graveyard hate we have Bojuka Bog, Relic of Progenitus and Rank Officer who also has a sluggy ability.

Weaknesses of the deck are repeatable board wipes like the aforementioned Pestilence and similar effects. While our commander has Regenerate built-in, he's still fairly easy to remove and neuters our damage output considerably. The very aggressive nature of the deck can also back-fire as we have barely any defences.
