To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Kalamax, the Stormsire is in charge of this temur deck that's all about copying your opponents, be it their spells or creatures!
I set out to build a deck that adapts to the pod it plays in as best as possible and it was this or stealing & playing my opponents cards but this felt more fun.
I also tried to keep it as budget as possible so there's a few potent cards missing and the mana-base is slow and a bit unreliable.
Besides the cloning & copying the deck runs some ramp, some draw & some interaction.
Because our commander copies instants all our draw are instant cards, we also need him tapped which we can accomplish by attacking or crewing with Cultivator's Caravan or tapping Kalamax with Survivors' Encampment or Holdout Settlement.
To keep Kalamax growing and more importantly copying our instants we need him safe, Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots help and we have a few counterspells as well but it's not the end of the deck if Kalamax returns to the command zone.
Other notable cards are Twinning Staff, Primal Amulet, Double Vision and Hive Mind for even more copy shenanigans, there's a lot of instant-win combos I've omitted but games do need to end at some point so I've included Ral, Storm Conduit who goes infinite with two copy spells for example Reverberate and Twincast. (Kalamax can become arbitrarily large this way as well if you need to finish the last opponent off.)
There's also a Gravitic Punch line with Kalamax tapped and a copy spell. But preferably you can copy an opponents win condition instead!
Weaknesses of the deck would be its mana-base as I've tried to keep it budgety and it can of course not keep up with cEDH pods (though maybe cause some chaos?), there's also no tutors however nothing's stopping you from copying your opponents tutors! With only 2 board-wipes wide decks can be an issue, especially as there's often no great clone targets.
Oh and at the moment Kaldheim hasn't revealed any snow-hosing cards, so I run Into the North, snow lands & the fetchable snow-duals, if potent snow-hosers show up replace it with Arcane Signet, regular lands and the thriving lands.
