To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander and the 99 are commons.
This Selesnya deck is built around Satyr Enchanter (SE), an incredible draw engine in superb colours for it. I've decided on a voltron strategy.
SE has been built a lot and in a lot of different ways, my take on it is a very protection-heavy deck that aims to keep it on the board until the end of the game. This is accomplished by running a lot of totem armor (Hyena Umbra), regenerates (Carapace) and protection (Benevolent Blessing). Since we need to hold mana open for a lot of these we also utilize Flash (Triclopean Sight) on a lot of our auras so our mana doesn't go to waste, Urban Burgeoning helps a lot.
Despite the deck's defences there's still a few cards to be wary of. Afterlife & Crib Swap beats totem armor and regenerate and giving our commander pro-white is a bit of a bummer as it prevents future white auras from targeting it. Cards like Hush and Patrician's Scorn can be a nightmare but they're fortunately rarely played.
Another concern are edict effects (Innocent Blood for example), we run some dorks and some auras that produce tokens to protect ourselves.
The end-game for the deck is resolving an Ancestral Mask or Ethereal Armor, they're huge once you have a few auras on the board and we can tutor for them with Heliod's Pilgrim and Totem-Guide Hartebeest. Aura Gnarlid and Yavimaya Enchantress can be quite threatening as well.
At the moment there's 8 cards in the deck enabling a turn 2 SE, mana dorks, land auras and depletion lands. It might be incorrect to drop SE turn 2 without protection but opponents are most likely also setting up their boards on their first few turns and might be less likely to cast removal. Requires some testing!
Other notable cards are Whip Silk (repeatable draw for GG), Conviction (buff or repeatable draw for 1WW) and Gaea's Touch (synergizes well with card draw and provides GG in a pinch). The latter along with the multitude of turn 1 green plays are reasons why the mana base skews towards forests.
