To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Gruul aggro-control-combo EDH with Ruric Thar, the Unbowed at the helm and built to maximize Primal Surge and [card]Warp World.
I decided go with a split Basic and Snow-Covered land base because Wake of Destruction is a thing. It also lets me tech Scrying Sheets and Mouth of Ronom and gives me an opportunity to mooch off of people running Extraplanar Lens in either of my colors.
Gratuitous Violence, Nullstone Gargoyle, Grafted Exoskeleton, and Heartwood Storyteller complement Ruric very nicely.
Loxodon Warhammer and Basilisk Collar can give me permission to essentially ignore Ruric's drawback. Slapping these on Zhur-Taa Druid is also really cute.
Fauna Shaman + Squee, Goblin Nabob makes for a pretty neat tutoring engine. Squee + Skullclamp is a decent albeit slow draw engine.
Defense of the Heart is a slower and conditional Tooth and Nail that everyone can see coming from a mile away. Even if it doesn't go off, I still like it for forcing people to play around it. It has some nice synergy with Terastodon since I can give a player three Elephant tokens to help me pop Defense unless they have a way to get rid of them. Defense is primarily an emergency button for the deck. If it goes off, I can fetch Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts or Avenger of Zendikar + Craterhoof Behemoth/Sylvan Primordial to end the game.
Vicious Shadows, Kamahl, and Stalking Vengeance act as deterrents against board wipes. Shadows and Vengeance will most likely result in some heavy damage to life totals while Kamahl can turn a board wipe into selective land destruction. Kamahl along with Craterhoof Behemoth can ensure that I have enough power on board to just flat out take out opponents via combat.
I also have Thermopod and Greater Gargadon as sac outlets if I need to intentionally burn opponents. They also help me get Solemn Simulacrum, Hoarding Dragon, and Wurmcoil Engine to the Graveyard for their triggers. Ulvenwald Tracker can also potentially function as a sac outlet in addition to creature removal. Nim Deathmantle with a sac outlet is a great way to abuse ETB triggers. Deathmantle + Skullclamp + sac outlet is a decent draw engine as well.
Possibility Storm has turned out to be a surprisingly good form of disruption. It also gives me the option of trying to flip any dead cards in my hand into something else.
